Mike’s journey with CIMA began in 1996 when he was awarded associate status, gaining the AGMA designation following his completion of the requisite qualifications and experience. Then in 2012, CIMA embarked upon a collaborative partnership with AICPA, which led to the designation of CGMA being awarded, recognising management accountants who have reached a high benchmark of quality and competence. The CGMA designation is globally recognised and signifies deep financial knowledge, strategic acumen, and evolving competencies, granting him the ability to practice in the United States, marking the start of a career focused on international standards and best practices. Over the years, the CGMA designation has evolved, offering professionals like Mike the ability to practice worldwide, solidifying his global expertise.
